I’m a long-time vegan and meditator who values living simply with focused intention. Being active, eating cleanly and taking good care of my body are high priorities. Hiking, cycling, gardening, dancing, Tai Chi and stretching are some favorite ways to use free time. I'm fiscally responsible, debt-free and enjoy finding creative ways to fix things rather than buy brand new. Recent projects include building raised garden beds and refurbishing a 7-speed bicycle being thrown away.
I live in a tiny home surrounded by natural beauty. Having more space outdoors than in has helped me practice minimalism. Less possessions, less possessed. I love to propagate and care for all kinds of plants. I view soil health as an art and enjoy layering the old to feed the new. Seed collection is another passion; witnessing the full cycle from sprout to seed is amazing! A Jane of many trades, I’ve worked as a vegetarian cook, massage therapist, organic orchard manager, bookkeeper, journeyman electrician and more before completing my degree and becoming a licensed mental health professional.
